A classic look with a rich heritage; this stylish soft cotton scarf features geometric patterning in blue, white and green, characteristic of the Ottoman Geçme technique. In Islamic art, the intersecting polygons and stars of Geçme demonstrate that behind the apparent chaos of the world lies an infinite mathematical order and harmony. Gift it to a fan of intricate ornament, or keep it as your own token of calm and peace.
The designer behind this scarf, Sena Topalcı, has spent 15 years navigating the magical world of miniature art. By combining the elegant details of miniature art with fine workmanship, their designs reflect the aesthetic understanding of both the past and the present by blending traditional miniature elements with modern touches. All are designed and made in Turkey.
To maximise the lifespan of your piece, be gentle; hand wash at 30°C with a non-acidic detergent, avoid excessive rubbing, and iron on the reverse side.
