A stylish figure cuts a dash in tones of purple against a patterned backdrop in this striking print created exclusively by Cecilia Carlstedt for the V&A’s exhibition Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear. Trained at the London College of Communication, Carlstedt now practices in her hometown of Stockholm. Experimentation is an integral part of her working process and she uses various techniques in her work, including ink, screen-printing and collage. Using bold colour and an unconventional palette she showcases the contemporary aspect of male fashion today.
