This intricate print by illustrator Eunjoo Lee unites the style of the traditional Korean quilt, the Jogakbo, with an iconic motif, the crane, known as a Hak, admired for its beautiful shape since ancient times. The crane symbolises longevity and closeness with God.
Eunjoo Lee is a Korean illustrator trained at the Hongik university in South Korea and Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. Her illustrations are inspired by nature, Korean folk arts, and traditional and modern textile designs.
