Revel in the energy of a night at The Wag, an iconic venue in London’s West End, with this print created exclusively to accompany The Music is Black: A British Story at V&A East. Adam Friedman’s 1979 photograph has been expertly printed on the highest quality paper with an accompanying white mount.

The Wag showcased a range of DJs across different genres, from House to rare groove, hip hop to Bhangra. Monday nights were for jazz fans, and this image captures the moves of Irven Lewis and Wayne James from the street jazz dance group Brothers in Jazz.
