This scarf by London-based designer Nicholas Daley unites sartorial swagger with music legacy to create a versatile and endlessly wearable piece. Made in England, the scarf is fully reversible, offering two distinctive looks in one piece.
Drawing on Daley’s Jamaican-Scottish heritage, one side displays shades of the Jamaican flag colours alongside jacquard Reggae Klub graphics, the Nicholas Daley logo and the reggae man motif; the other features a navy and white plaid design marked with the designer’s initials.
Nicholas Daley’s Dundee-born mother and Jamaican father first met in a nightclub and founded Reggae Klub, the first reggae club night in 1970s Scotland, as a way of bringing people together through their shared passion for music, travelling to clubs across the country between 1978 and 1982.
