The design for this enamel badge is taken from a detail of a mosaic frieze that decorates the Lecture Theatre block at the V&A. Created by Godfrey Sykes, the mosaic depicts Queen Victoria at its centre, in front of a silhouette of the Crystal Palace, award laurels to prize winners. Reflecting the museums roots in the Great Exhibition held at Crystal Palace, and its namesake, Queen Victoria, this stylish enamel badge makes a perfect souvenir.
