Wrap yourself in the warm tones of a masterwork from the V&A's walls with this wonderful scarf. Thomas Armstrong's 1869 oil painting The Hay Field, which can be seen on display on the staircase at South Kensington, has inspired the scarf's colour palette: the cool green of the grass, the cream and purple of Grecian dresses, and the pale blue of the sky under a full moon. Made of 100% merino lambswool, the timeless, textured scarf offers exceptional warmth while being soft against the skin, with a lightweight breathability that makes it a pleasure to wear.
Pioneering British design studio Wallace Sewell is known for its bold aesthetic, meticulous craftsmanship and commitment to local manufacturing. Innovative designs, often inspired by the world of art and painting, are designed on handlooms in the company’s studios and then brought to life at a family-run mill in Lancashire.
