Wear a work of art, reimagined, with this enchanting scarf made from 100% merino lambswool. A painting on display at Young V&A has inspired the scarf's colour palette, combining cool shades with dark, mysterious hues to create a tasteful, tonal piece that's easy to wear. Georg Emil Libert's 1847 oil painting, Snow Scene: The Haunted House, depicts three boys playing on a frozen river in front of an austere manor house. Merino lambswool would make a perfect choice for such a snowy day, providing an ultra-fine soft feel, exceptional warmth and comfortable breathability.
Pioneering British design studio Wallace Sewell is known for its bold aesthetic, meticulous craftsmanship and commitment to local manufacturing. Innovative designs, often inspired by the world of art and painting, are designed on handlooms in the company’s studios and then brought to life at a family-run mill in Lancashire.
