These wooden market weighing scales would make a wonderful addition to a play shop or pretend kitchen. Brightly coloured and cheerfully decorated, the scales have a lever that moves when an item is placed on the red dish, great for understanding cause and effect. The scales are made from sustainably sourced, reclaimed rubber wood from ethically managed plantations.

 

The wood used in this set is sourced from ethically managed plantations developed in partnership with the Indonesian Government.
