In a South Ken Garden by Kit Boyd
Limited edition of 100
Hand numbered and signed by the artist
Created exclusively for the V&A, 2025
An exclusive collaboration with London-based artist Kit Boyd, In a South Ken Garden has been made in response to the watercolour In a Shoreham Garden by British landscape painter, etcher and printmaker Samuel Palmer’s, held in the V&A collections.
The composition also references the variety of flora and fauna on display in the V&A’s galleries, such as a falcon from a 13th-century tapestry and a dog figurine from 7th-century China.
With a love for the British romantic tradition, Kit Boyd is a painter and printmaker whose work explores our relationship with the landscape and our place within nature. Through his vision of the rural idyll, Boyd offers a sense of solace and reflection amid the pace and pressures of the modern world.
