Immerse yourself in a Surrealist masterpiece with this arresting print created exclusively for the V&A. Man Ray’s painting has been expertly printed on the highest grade paper to create a quality piece to treasure.
A key figure in the Surrealist movement, Man Ray is remembered for his avant-garde approach that pushed the boundaries of painting, photography, sculpture and film. His major oil painting, Le Beau Temps, was created in 1939 in Paris and was directly inspired by the harlequin-patterned designs of Elsa Schiaparelli's Commedia dell’Arte collection of the same year.
