Fashion in Motion is a series of live fashion shows at the V&A South Kensington, featuring leading fashion designers from across the world. Central Saint Martins students showcased their work inspired by the designs of Gabrielle Chanel.

To coincide with the V&A exhibition Gabrielle Chanel. Fashion Manifesto, Fashion in Motion presented a unique show: 'Inspired by Gabrielle Chanel'. A selection of 22 exceptional outfits created by students of Central Saint Martins BA Fashion Design Womenswear course were featured on the catwalk in the atmospheric Raphael Gallery.

Responding to one of the 20th century's most influential designers, the students took inspiration from Gabrielle Chanel's innovative approach to fabric, silhouette and construction, which continues to influence the way women dress today.
