Re-engineering the Brown Betty teapot

With its familiar globe shape and deep-brown glaze, the 'Brown Betty' teapot is a design classic, yet little is known about its history. Designer and ceramicist Ian McIntyre set out to uncover the story of this iconic pot, working with the oldest remaining manufacturer to recover lost design features and 're-engineer' the Brown Betty for the 21st century.
