Molly Hatch will use her new book 'A Passion for China' to share stories behind the ceramic objects we live with, eat from and love and as a platform for ways to consider the ceramic surface. Through demonstrated and hands-on learning, Hatch will share multiple techniques for reinterpreting history on the ceramic surface. Learn how to apply a pressure transfer onto fired and unfired clay, traditional inlay, painting on clay as well as ways to think through integrating surface and form. You'll come away with new and exciting ways to approach the ceramic surface.
