Dinner and a Movie: La Règle du Jeu

Join us for a screening of La Règle du Jeu (Rules of the Game), a timeless French classic directed by Jean Renoir, featuring costumes designed by Gabrielle Chanel. The film offers a satirical comedy-drama following the lives of the French upper-class on the eve of World War Two. A timeless observation of the irrationality of people battling through romantic intrigues.

After the screening, costume curator, Keith Lodwick, will provide insight into Gabrielle Chanel as a costumier in the movie.

Following the talk, join us for a delicious three-course dinner in the Members’ Room, where you can savour the flavours of France with friends and family.
