You’ll be intrigued by how many aspects there are to the canals, from the arts and crafts of the boat crews to the cargoes carried, the horses that pulled their boats, and the cramped conditions in which they lived. Enjoy the tranquility of the waterside location, close to King’s Cross Station, and be inspired by the history of the Victorian building, which was constructed to store ice imported from Norway.
