This month, we hear from architect and public planner, Ione Braddick as she discusses her career in and beyond architecture. Ione is currently working in Epping Forest District Council as an Urban Designer through the Public Practice programme. Before this, Ione worked as a project architect for five years, designing and building housing and community projects at Archio, a practice based in London but with projects spanning the South East. Ione has also taught architecture at undergraduate level and set up The Alternative Architect project, to showcase the non-traditional roles that studying architecture and working as an architect can lead to.
