In Frankenstein, recently Oscar-nominated for Best Picture, del Toro brings to the screen a definitive new version of the timeless classic, exploring what it means to be human.
Frankenstein saw del Toro reunite with many of his frequent behind-the-scenes collaborators, working together to craft a beautiful production of operatic scale made by real people, in real locations with real – often handmade – materials, testing the capabilities of every single craft in moviemaking.
