Past Event

Learn about Isobel's work in theatre, TV and film, meet some of the puppets she’s made and find out more about the wonderful role of a prop maker. During the webinar, your students will have the chance to design and make along with Isobel during the session to create their very own animal puppet. For this activity, your students will need to have chosen an animal they would like to base their design on and will need the following materials and equipment:
-Card - (eg. from a cereal box)
- Scissors
- String
- Template printed and coloured in with design (this will be emailed after booking for you to print ahead of the webinar for your students or can be downloaded from this page on the right hand side by selecting DOWNLOAD BROCHURE)
- pens / colouring pencils
- Yarn needles (if possible)
- A basic biro pen
- A compass needed for the pointy end to make holes (or you might want to pre-punch/make the holes depending on the age of your class)

Students must be supervised at all times during the session and should be confident using the equipment they are provided with to make their puppets, otherwise we would recommend adult support.
