Throughout history, monarchs, military commanders and politicians have used the power of art to celebrate victory, to convey political messages and sometimes to create weapons which happen to be beautiful. In this tour of the V&A Collections, Charlotte Henwood, former Curator of the Ministry of Defence Art Collection and current V&A Guide, will look at a range of objects and works of art with a military rationale.
