Film Screening+Q&A: Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War photo

Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War is the compelling multi-award winning documentary that brings to life the story of the brilliant but often overlooked British artist who was caught in the crossfire of war 80 years ago – and whose work can still be seen in the V&A today.

Set against the dramatic wartime locations that inspired him, the story unfolds in his own words, through previously unseen private correspondence and rare archive film. The film also features interviews with descendants of Eric Ravilious and Tirzah Garwood alongside Ai Weiwei, Alan Bennett, Grayson Perry, Robert McFarlane and more.

The film screening will be followed by Q&A with director/writer/producer Margy Kinmonth and Eric’s granddaughter, V&A curator Ella Ravilious.

The film is produced by Foxtrot Films Ltd; view trailer online here.
