She was the consultant curator in the re-designing of the William and Judith Bollinger Jewellery Gallery at the V&A (opened in 2008), London and was guest curator of the ‘Pearl’ exhibition (2013-14).

Modernism in jewellery had its early beginnings around 1900 and in the 1920s, but never has jewellery in its history experienced such an explosion of ideas and designs as today. This course will look at how jewellery has changed in the 20th and 21st century, the innovations and the reasons behind it, such as a transformed society and new technologies. You will discuss the significance jewellery has to wearers today. Explore how new movements for example in Britain, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe differed significantly. In discussion with current makers, you will trace the effects of globalisation on the contemporary art form of jewellery.
