Past Event

Join V&A Guide Tony Mollett to explore the lives and work of two great artists, JMW Turner and John Constable. Born one year apart, the first, a self-made success born above a barber’s shop in Covent Garden, who travelled throughout Britain and Europe, and the latter, a son of a Suffolk landowner who never felt the need to leave England in his pursuit of inspiration. Who was more radical, who was more successful, and who had the greatest influence on Modern art?

Tour end times are approximate and may vary to what is shown. Optional light refreshments will be served after the tour in the Members' Room.
