Library and Archives Discovery Day March 2026
Did you know that there is a vast collection of Library and Archive materials at V&A East Storehouse?
Come to our Discovery Day on March 26th , when we open up the V&A East Storehouse Study Centre to view books and archives without appointment! Have a close look at some specially selected items from the Archive of Art and Design, library and archive items relating to Theatre and Performance, and some items from our children’s book collection. You can also join in a colouring in activity or listen to a talk from one of the librarians or archivists.

Storehouse of Stories: The Renier Collection of Historic & Contemporary Publications for Children
With more than 80,000 items dating from the 16th century to the 1980s, the Renier Collection is one of the largest collection of children’s books in the country. Storehouse Librarian Laura Wood will share the remarkable history of the collection, highlighting some special and surprising items.
