Drop-in Design: The Circulation Department
Join us for October Half Term to create your own inventions for a future city, using images from the V&A collection and recycled materials, then turn them into wearable art!
Every city needs new inventions. Fancy creating an invention for the future as art you can wear on your head?
Join artist Gayle Chong Kwan to create your own wearable art inspired by objects from the Design 1900-Now collection. Use images from the V&A, recycled packaging, and add colours to make your art. Get inspired by Gayle’s work and the designers and inventions from our collection. Then become part of a moving exhibition as your design is added to a collection of new inventions!
This is a free, drop-in event for families to enjoy all together; no child can be left unattended. Suitable for ages 5+.
