V&A Schools Live: Primary Read and Draw-Along: Author Cressida Cowell of How To Train Your Dragon

Teachers and students will join author-illustrator Cressida Cowell in this live Read and Draw-along hosted on Zoom. Learn about what it’s like to write children’s books and about some of Cressida’s fantastic stories and characters from How To Train Your Dragon and other books. Listen or read along with Cressida, and then watch or draw along with her using your favourite materials in your classroom or home.

For this session, teachers will need to prepare the following materials per student in advance:

- Paper (at least 2 sheets per student) or a sketchbook with empty pages or a tablet with drawing software
- Pencils, marker pens, stylus or a mark-making tool that students prefer 

The session will support the following components of the KS1 and KS2 National Curriculum – English Art & Design Design & Technology.
