Join us and London's emerging artists and designers after hours for our first Friday Late of the year.
This Friday Late we explore the world of 'pretty useless things'. As museum collections can testify, we are enduringly attracted to beautiful things with little purpose. On the last Friday of the month, experience art installations in our galleries that question the role of aesthetics in our modern world. Watch performances that explore themes of transition and transformation. Take part in food experimentation and metalwork workshops that transform copper and brass into beautifully patinated metals.
