Times are changing rapidly; the medieval era is drawing to a close and a new Renaissance period is dawning. What does the art of dress tell us about this epochal time? Join V&A Guide Pennie Mendes to explore the details on the plethora of figures in four of the tapestries, collectively known as the Devonshire Hunting tapestries, and what they can tell us about fashionable court life of the period. These colourful woven works were thought to be made in Arras, between 1425-1450, the centre of the very influential European Burgundian court, at the start of the Northern Renaissance period and are now housed in the V&A.

Tour end times are approximate and may vary to what is shown. Optional light refreshments will be served after the tour in the Members' Room.
