Performers like Danny la Rue, Kenneth Williams and Larry Grayson became household names in the 1960s and 1970s, however this public adoration often did not extend to LGBTQ activists. Looking at objects from the museum's Theatre and Performance collection, Alice Power (Assistant Curator and V&A LGBTQ working group co-chair) will explore the relationship between camp in the theatre, TV, and radio, and the LGBTQ equality movement.
