Form, Sculpture, Design and Materiality

In this talk, Ross will share a series of projects that illustrate this appropriation as well as the physical diversity that leads to ‘Material Motivation’.

Inspired by the logic and beauty of nature, Ross Lovegrove’s designs meet at the intersection between technology, materials science and intelligent organic form. Ross takes the viewpoint that materials have innate properties that with instinctive appropriation can form an integral part of ones reaction to a replicated Industrial object or a more singular work of art.
