Donatello: Sculpting the Renaissance
Supported by Rocco Forte
Join Sculptor Wilfrid Wood for a hands-on workshop exploring faces through sculpture. Inspired by the Donatello exhibition and Wilfrid's art, create a piece of art that captures the expressions and energy of your favourite celebrity. Play with colour, shape, and form to discover your way of expressing your celebrities character.
You will get to experiment with creating faces out of plasticine and come away with two plasticine sculptures to take home with you!
Please bring images of your three favourite celebrities! Either bring printouts or you can just have the images ready on your phones as options to inspire the two sculptures you’ll make.
The 10:30 workshop is recommended for ages 5-7; 13:00 is recommended for ages 8-10 and 15:00 is recommended for 11-13.
Tickets are £12 per child, children must be accompanied by an adult. Please book a free ticket for each accompanying adult. Please note that adults will be able to attend only if they've booked a child ticket too.
This is a families event for adults to do with children; no child can be left unattended.
