To mark the publication of his new book, John Phibbs, renowned garden historian, will discuss the life and career of the leading 18th Century landscape designer Humphry Repton whose influence is still felt everywhere from the rolling meadows and gardens of England's great houses to New York City's Central Park. The talk, like the book, will be illustrated with new photography by Joe Cornish and reproductions from Repton's famous red books to shed light on Repton's vision and process.
This talk will be held on Zoom; all ticket holders will receive a link to join the morning of the event. Ticketholders will also receive a recording to watch later, if they are not able to join live.
