Join Andy Merritt, Founder of Something & Son, Flynn Talbott, Lighting Designer, and Philippe Mahieu, Director of Barrisol, for a lively discussion about new technologies and materials.

Something & Son is a collaborative and activist-led collective working across art, design and architecture, creating diverse work that is socially and environmentally driven. Their projects, which include a 3D-printed sculpture co-designed by 300 people and using the food waste of a museum to create free energy, have been selected for the New York Times Design Honor List, the decennary publication New Architects and The Observers New Radicals.

Flynn Talbott has used Barrisol’s stretch membrane material in his London Design Festival commission, ‘Reflection Room’ which he says “is a futuristic textile and for me is like nothing else.”
