During this lecture, Taco Dibbits will focus on the essential contributors and contributions to the Rijksmuseum, some of which can be controversial today.

The Rijksmuseum is one of the most renowned museums in the world, notably celebrated for its impressive collection of Dutch masters’ paintings. Since its major renovation from 2003 to 2013, the institution has also been acclaimed for its pioneering programme to provide wider access to their collection, and for their remarkable work on provenance histories.
