Dr Kit Heyam, researcher on a new collaborative project at the Universities of Plymouth and Lund, will share their stories of looking for trans history in the V&A’s early modern objects. From poisonous cups to sixteenth-century lift-the-flap books, these aren’t your usual LGBT histories – but they’ll open your eyes to the historical trans possibilities that might be hiding in plain sight.
