Course overview

Led by staff and volunteers of the V&A's LGBTQ Working Group, this course will analyse curatorial approaches and raise important questions regarding representation of LGBTQ identity in museum and gallery settings.

In the afternoon, arts educator Jon Sleigh and V&A Curator Zorian Clayton will lead a workshop session in the V&A's Prints and Drawings Study Room, looking at a selection of art objects and applying queer readings to them. Participants will gain insights into ways of drawing out queer stories and qualities and developing their own museum resources.
