Kantha is a traditional Indian embroidery technique that upcycles old fabrics and brings them new life by layering them with beautiful stitched motifs. Inspired by the rich tradition of Kantha textiles in the V&A collection, textile artist Ekta Kaul will teach you how to use a variety of Kantha embroidery stitches, developing your creative confidence as you create your own embroidered panel to take away.

Ekta Kaul is an award-winning textile artist based in London. Her artistic practice focuses on exploring places, histories and belonging through stitched maps.
