South Asian Heritage Month: Summer Studio
Join Mush Studios for a day of making, inspired by the V&A's South Asia Collection.
Get inspired by objects in the South Asia collection, create and adorn your own brooch.
The workshop will take you through the creative process, to create your own wearable brooches from embossing gold foil with patterns and textiles, before embellishing with faux gems and pearls.
The session will be led by Kushiaania and Yo-Janda, a creative duo specializing in illustrations and artwork inspired by their British South-Asian heritage. Their work explores identity, culture, and nostalgia, blending traditional influences with contemporary techniques.
This session is aimed at young people (12-26) looking to get creative. It is not suitable for under 5s.
