Join us for an architectural tour of Benjamin Franklin House to reveal the Georgian features of the 1730s building along with its fascinating history encompassing Franklin’s long residence (1757-1775), the Hewson anatomy school, and the comprehensive conservation project that saved the Grade I listed terrace home from dereliction. The tour concludes with a demonstration of a working replica of Franklin’s musical invention, the glass armonica, an instrument for which Mozart, Bach and Beethoven composed.
