Cunningham’s choreography sets the imagined situations suggested by Yoko Ono’s ‘poetry in action’ within the dramatic spaces of the Museum, creating intimacy and detailed attention amidst an impressive architecture. Taking place throughout the Museum, four dancers will create intimate, imaginary situations as they move through spaces inside the Museum.

A sequence of ten consecutive dances will create a journey through the Museum’s galleries. You are invited to enjoy each ‘Dance Piece’ as a single performance, or follow the dancers on a promenade through the Museum.

Promenade performances will start at 11.30am, 2pm and 4pm in Gallery 46b (Cast Courts). The performance route will include the following sequence of rooms:
64b, 50b, 50a, 114e-d, 117, 114c, 116, 58, 57, and 48a.

With thanks to Yoko Ono.

Part of REVEAL, a week-long festival celebrating the Museum's architecture, heritage and history.
