Join us in the Learning Centre with Senior Curator of Paintings and Drawings, Dr Jenny Gaschke, as we explore the lasting legacy of John Constable - 250 years after his birth - and how his daughter, Isabel, generously gave some of her father’s studio contents to the V&A in 1888.
This event is free but ticketed. Booking is essential. Please meet at Seminar Room 1 in the Learning Centre at V&A South Kensington. Tea and coffee will be provided afterwards.
October 12th – 16th is the V&A’s Legacy Week! Discover how gifts in wills make a lasting impact at the V&A and how you could share your love for our family of museums by leaving a gift in your Will.
For more information, please contact our Legacy Team at legacy@vam.ac.uk or by phone at +44 20 7942 2716.
