John Bright is known for his significant contributions to film, television and stage as founder of the costume house Cosprop, and as an Academy Award and BAFTA winning costume designer. His design work with Merchant Ivory Productions with co-designer Jenny Beavan, has made a lasting impact on period costume design internationally. He is also the founder of the Hastings-based arts education charity The Bright Foundation, providing life-enhancing opportunities for children and young people facing disadvantage.

Join him in conversation with curator and film historian Keith Lodwick for a look at his storied six-decade career, including frequent collaborations with Helena Bonham Carter, who will join him to share stories of their work together.
