Half-a-century ago The Elizabethan Image saw the public queue down the steps of Tate Britain to see his landmark exhibition. Sir Roy returns to reconsider one aspect of this topic, the portraits of the great Queen herself and finds that five decades on there is still much new to discover and be said.
