Carmilla - online film screening + Q&A photo

Ticket holders will receive special access to view this atmospheric coming-of-age love story before it opens in cinemas, as well as the opportunity to join us online live for a Q&A with director and cast members. A reimagining of Sheridan La Fanu’s 19th century novella of the same name. and steeped in eerie mystery, the film tells the story of 15-year-old Lara (Hannah Rae) who lives with her father (Greg Wise) and her strict governess, Miss Fontaine (Jessica Raine), in total isolation and is struggling to find an outlet for her curiosity and burgeoning sexuality. When a carriage crash nearby brings a young girl into the family home to recuperate, Lara is enchanted by the eponymous Carmilla (Devrim Lingnau).
Joining us for the panel will be Director Emily Harris, and actors Hannah Rae and Devrim Lingnau.
Carmilla is rated Certificate 15.

How will it work? Ticket holders will receive a password to view the movie online from Tuesday 13 October, and can watch at any time over the next two days. They can then join the live panel discussion the evening of Thursday 15 October. The discussion will also be recorded and shared with all ticket holders after the event.
