How We Made It with Bisila Noha photo
Join artist and writer Bisila Noha for a special edition of How We Made It, a deep dive into writing as part of creative process and practice.

Working across ceramics, research and text, Bisila’s materially rich practice traces how objects hold and transmit meaning and memory across territories and time.

This event draws on Bisila’s multi-year research project and series ‘Searching for Kouame Kakahá’, two vessels from which are displayed in the Upper Ground Why We Make gallery.

With this event, Bisila opens up the inner architecture of her work, from the first gestures of research to writing as a method for processing ideas and shaping form.

Through prompts, discussion and time spent in the Why We Make galleries, Bisila will invite participants to explore writing as a tool for experimentation, reflection and play.

This How We Made It event takes place on the top-floor Event Space at V&A East Museum, with time also spent in the Upper Ground Why We Make gallery. Attendees will move via lift routes.
