Curated from the V&A’s wide-ranging and rich paintings collection, this tour places you up close and personal with ten outstanding portraits of women.
Proceeding through a series of galleries offering valuable insights into female subjects and the distinguished artists who depicted them, including Botticelli, Rossetti, and Gainsborough. In addition to an exploration of painting techniques, symbolism, and narrative elements, the tour examines how these significant works came to form part of the V&A’s collection.
