Throughout the centuries, the story of art and history has been shaped by institutions of power. In this talk, Katy Hessel and Simon Sebag-Montefiore will challenge the bodies of power that exist throughout the history of art, culture, and society. Through the Renaissance, World Wars and contemporary politics, the talk will traverse themes of power, gender, family and the freedom of expression.
