Create! Costume Design and Making (13 -15 years)
Create a unique costume, gain inspiration from the V&A’s permanent display of costumes in the Theatre and Performance Galleries.

Past Event
You will sketch a design and make it into a costume. Over this three day course you will learn pattern cutting, shaping and variety of sewing techniques. Working with designer Dean Blunkell, who has created costumes for the Royal Albert Hall and other arts venues, you will develop new skills, insights and a costume to take home.
No previous experience needed.
There is only a 30 minute lunch break, so it is advisable to bring a packed lunch.
