In Focus: New Czech Glass and Ceramics
Join glass artist Petr Stanicky, ceramicist Milan Pekar, and design curator Adam Stech for a gallery talk about Czech ceramics and glass pushing the boundaries from the past and future.
The talk will start at the V&A before moving on to visit a range of Czech projects presented nearby in the Brompton Design District. These include new directions in ceramic and porcelain, exhibited in the Bohemian Mud exhibition by the Ceramics and Porcelain Studio of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, Prague (UMPRUM) and Another White Story, presenting the latest chapter in the history of Czech porcelain design from Designblok.
