Design Baby

Play with unusual and experimental materials and mix them up with your little ones! Explore the space and sensory areas. Share your experience with other families and create new connections.

The session will be child-led and non-structured to allow your child to explore the space and materials freely, at their own pace.

The 11:00 session is recommended for pre-walkers; the 13:00 is recommended for walkers under 3. Both sessions are designed to be inclusive of all levels and abilities, so feel free to book the session that is more suited for your child/children.

Please ask any staff members for help or prompts to interact with the space!

We welcome any parent or guardian who would like to bring their baby or toddler to the V&A. This is an opportunity to bond with your child and find out new ways of exploring and playing.

This is a bespoke early year session for adults to do with children. No child can be left unattended. When booking the tickets, please make sure you book a ticket for each child and adult attending. These tickets are in high demand, please book max 4 tickets per booking.

Please double-check that you are available for an event before booking tickets. If the V&A needs to cancel the event due to an emergency, or for any reason beyond the control of the V&A, we will reschedule your booking for a later date.

At the end of this session, pick up our new Early Years activity Little Explorers to enjoy the playful activities that spark curiosity and family connections whilst exploring the V&A South Kensington
